The department is organized into 15 subspecialties and supported by a multidisciplinary team including nurses, optometrists, orthoptists, and physicians. Innovation, patient safety, and high-quality care are central to its mission, guided by the hospital’s vision: “Together with and for the patient.”

These are separate roles, and candidates with expertise in either field are encouraged to apply. Both positions offer excellent opportunities for professional development, including advanced training. As a university hospital, the department is at the forefront of research and innovation, utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques. It provides nationally specialized care for childhood glaucoma and cataracts and runs a dedicated clinic for hereditary retinal diseases.
