As an Internal Medicine Specialist, you'll be part of a growing and evolving team committed to strengthening public health and enhancing healthcare for Värmland’s 290,000 residents in collaboration with our patients. We operate healthcare centers throughout the region, including three emergency hospitals located in Arvika, Karlstad, and Torsby. Our emphasis is on person-centered care, tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, ensuring that care is delivered close to the patient and on their terms. The hospital employs approximately 500 staff members.

What do we offer?
Free-of-charge language training with financial support prior to your relocation.
A full-time, permanent position with a 40-hour work week.
A monthly salary, with the basic monthly salary starting from 67 000 SEK (approx. 5 800 €) gross. The final salary level will be determined individually based on your skills and work experience and will be granted once you have a license to practice as a doctor in your area of specialty.
Additional compensation for inconvenient working hours (evenings, weekends, nights, holidays, and overtime), paid in addition to the basic monthly salary.

What do we expect from you?
A license to practice as a specialized doctor within the field of medicine, granted by the relevant authorities in a European Union country.
A commitment to participate in the free language training provided in your home country, with the goal of reaching at least a B2 level in the target language (Swedish) by the end of the training. You will continue to progress to C1 level after your arrival in Sweden.
Previous experience in hospitals with internal medicine inpatient care, on-call duties, and dual qualifications will be considered advantageous.
