Working as a ward nurse in Terveystalo, requires you to have excellent cooperation and communication skills, as well as to coordinate, guide, teach and motivate not only your patients but also their relatives and your colleagues. Good organisational skills are therefore needed in order to plan, monitor and coordinate treatment plans and actions.

Monitoring the patient as they move and rest, as well as, if necessary, assisting and guiding them
Assisting and guiding the patient in personal hygiene, skincare and caring for their wounds
Implementing, teaching and providing guidance in patient care and follow-up care in a way that promotes commitment to care
Planning and coordinating patient care in a multidisciplinary manner in collaboration with other professionals and the patient/relatives
Preventing possible complications from illness and surgery by monitoring, assisting and guiding the patient in a multi-professional collaboration

Salary quoted gross, i.e. BEFORE taxes and social contributions as a starting salary with no previous work experience after graduation, in accordance to the collective agreement of private social services sector, pay grade 4. This salary is paid as a minimum, without shift work, after you have received your Finnish license to practise your profession as a nurse.
Shift work (bank holidays and inconvenient hours) will be paid in accordance to the amount of such hours worked, increasing the monthly salary with approximately 20%, bringing the salary
up to 2 941,90€/ month.

4 years of experience
Salary quoted gross, i.e. BEFORE taxes and social contributions as a starting salary with 4 years of previous work experience after graduation, in accordance to the collective agreement of private social services sector, pay grade 4. This salary is paid as a minimum, without shift work, after you have received your Finnish license to practise your profession as a nurse.
Shift work (bank holidays and inconvenient hours) will be paid in accordance to the amount of such hours worked, increasing the monthly salary with approximately 20% bringing the salary
up to 3 118,42€/ month.

BASIC SALARY
7 years of experience
Salary quoted gross, i.e. BEFORE taxes and social contributions as a starting salary with 7 years of previous work experience after graduation, in accordance to the collective agreement of private social services sector, pay grade 4. This salary is paid as a minimum, without shift work, after you have received your Finnish license to practise your profession as a nurse.
Shift work (bank holidays and inconvenient hours) will be paid in accordance to the amount of such hours worked, increasing the monthly salary with approximately 20% bringing the salary
up to 3 265,51€/ month.

We expect you to:
Have a license to practice your profession within the field of nursing as a registered or as a specialised nurse, and that this license has been granted to you by European Union country officials.
Have a genuine interest in working with patients
Have an independent customer service attitude with an active listener mode easily activated
Commit to free-of-charge language training, and to study a minimum 20 hrs per week in order to reach a B1/B2 level of the target language at the end of the training
Commit to relocating and starting work in Finland after reaching your target in language training
Considered as a plus are:
Experience from working in the area of nursing as a registered professional after finalising your studies
Intermediate to fluent English language skills
