Working at a health centre in small regions in Finland contains a multitude of tasks and you get to work at your full professional capacity. Nurses in Finnish health centres normally hold independent receptions and handle patient enquiries and treatment needs via the phone. Notably, in Finland nurses and doctors’ appointments are no longer just face-to-face, but more and more are also executed via different digital platforms. Therefore, an understanding of digital platforms is a key skill in order to succeed in this role.
Would you love working in these duties?
Conducting an independent nurses reception both as face-to-face appointments and via digital service channels
Evaluating treatment needs via phone and in physical reception
Assisting in treatments and examinations
On-call sampling, handling of the samples and evaluation of results
Health counselling and guidance to correct treatment pathways through all service channels
Using your medical expertise during receptions times and in examinations (for example wound treatment, casts, interventional examinations such as colonoscopies, etc.)
Tasks & duties in relation to smooth reception practice, such as giving out medication, ensuring clean and orderly working spaces and taking care of required instruments

Salary quoted gross, i.e. BEFORE taxes and social contributions as a starting salary with no previous work experience after graduation, in accordance with the collective agreement of private healthcare services sector, pay grade 4. This salary is paid as a minimum, without shift work, after you have received your Finnish license to practise your profession as a nurse.
This position has no shift work.
4 years of experience
Salary quoted gross, i.e. BEFORE taxes and social contributions as a starting salary with 4 years of previous work experience after graduation, in accordance with the collective agreement of private healthcare services sector, pay grade 4. This salary is paid as a minimum, without shift work, after you have received your Finnish license to practise your profession as a nurse.
This position has no shift work.
7 years of experience
Salary quoted gross, i.e. BEFORE taxes and social contributions as a starting salary with 7 years of previous work experience after graduation, in accordance with the collective agreement of private healthcare services sector, pay grade 4. This salary is paid as a minimum, without shift work, after you have received your Finnish license to practise your profession as a nurse.
This position has no shift work.
What is the offer?

A full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week working time
A basic monthly, full-time, salary prior to reaching your licensed status and while studying 50% of working time
After licensing, a basic monthly salary starting from 2 400€/ month before taxes (*please, see above)
Additional compensation for inconvenient working hours (evenings, weekends, nights, holidays & overtime) which are paid on top of the basic monthly salary

We expect you to :
Have a license to practice your profession within the field of nursing as a registered or as a specialised nurse, and that this license has been granted to you by European Union country officials.
Have a genuine interest for working with patients
Have an independent customer service attitude with an active listener mode easily activated
Commit to free-of-charge language training, and to study a minimum 20 hrs per week in order to reach a B1/B2 level of the target language at the end of the training
Commit to relocating and starting work in Finland after reaching your target in language training
Considered as a plus are:
Experience from working in the area of nursing as a registered professional after finalising your studies
Intermediate to fluent English language skills
Locations to work as a nurse in a health centre
